A Busy Weekend
Well, I was quite busy this past weekend. I guess you could say this was family outings weekend! Friday might we all went shopping at Wal-Mart, and Jordan picked up everything she came across and said, "We need one of these!" Of course, nothing that she picked up was anything that we actually needed, but somehow we managed to spend $70 on nothing!
Then Saturday she wanted to go to the mall. This child has always loved the mall. Unlike a lot of women, I am not a mall shopper. If I need something, I go and look for it and buy it. I really have to be in the mood to shop to want to go to the mall. I’m not really sure why she likes it so much - it’s not like she wants to go in any of the stores. She wants to stay out in the main part of the mall. So, off we all go to the mall. We ended up with four new pairs of shoes for her, which she really did need. I bought some earrings, and Daddy looked for shoes, but couldn’t find any that he liked.
So after three hours at the mall, we go home, eat some lunch, and then Jordan takes her nap. When she wakes up, we all get ready to go again. This time it’s Gatti Town. She has been asking to go for a week, so we finally gave in. I mean, how can we say "No" to this face?? I really don’t like the place very much - too crowded and loud! Children running rampant everywhere! So, we go, we eat, we play games for a couple of hours. She really didn’t want to leave, but I was at my limit after three hours!
Sunday was housework catch-up day. Since we were gone most of the day Saturday, I had to try and get it all done in one day! Five loads of laundry, dusting, vacuuming, etc… Plus I had to sneak in a little scrapping time. Oh, plus I had to go back to Wal-Mart to actually buy groceries! Like I said, pretty busy weekend. Sometimes I feel like I need to go to work to get some rest!
