My Little World…

OK, anyone that reads Gina Miller’s blog knows that she is the Queen of shopping enablers! Well, her and all her talk about Yankee Candles - guess where I ended up this afternoon?  Yep, that’s right - and I walked out of there $42 dollars lighter, and that was after a $10 coupon! I got about 12 tarts, and the coolest soapstone burner! Plus I got one of the oil plug-ins because they had them for $6.00.

I swear, I smelled every scent they had in there, with Jordan following behind me doing the same thing! I got several of the new Spring scents:

• Berry Tangerine
• Cottage Breeze
• Country Linen
• Willow Breeze
• Granny Smith
• Ocean Water
• Fruit Smoothie

There are others, but I can’t remember what they are, and right now I’m too lazy to go and look! Today has just been a lazy day! Jordan and I stayed in our pajamas until 5:00, and we only got dressed then because we had to go to Lowe’s. Oh - and I almost forgot about the other "addiction" that she introduced me to - Silver Jewelry Club! I have spent about $40 there too!

DH managed to destroy our riding lawn mower on this years first grass cutting! He hit something in the yard, and it just locked the blades down. So off he goes to check out prices on new ones. And so, $2200 later, we now have a new lawn mower! Yeah!! Yeah right - like I couldn’t come up with a million things that I would rather have spent that kind of money on! Think of all the candles I could have bought with that! And the trips to Target, and…. When Jordan and I came out of the candle store, I told him, "I just spent $2000 on candles! Hope you don’t mind…"

So, that was my day - exciting, huh? Tomorrow I have to get the border put up in the bathroom that I painted last year, and then I have to get the new flooring down. Yes, I do most of the home renovation projects around here - as long as they don’t involve major power tools! Hope you all have a great second half of the weekend!
