The cutest thing…

OK, I will do a layout about this, and I took photos, but for now I just have to tell the story, because it was the funniest thing! Last night, we were getting ready to eat, and Jordan said she had to dress up like a princess before she could eat. This child has tons of princess dress-up stuff, including two or three crowns, two pairs of plastic shoes, and the asundry magic wands, jewelry, etc.

So anyway, Phil and I were sitting in the living room watching TV, and she went into her playroom, which is right off the kitchen. Well after a lot of clattering and banging, she returns. First though, I have to tell you about the dress that she was wearing. It is a little cotton dress with these big, funky flowers all over it that we bought her TWO summers ago. She likes to wear it as a night gown now, and it fits her fine other than being way to short. I mean, it barely covers her tushy. So, here comes the princess through the kitchen. We can hear her little plastic high heel shoes on the kitchen floor. In she comes into the living room, and we both busted out laughing. She has on her jeweled crown, her yellow shoes with big plastic flowers on top, her jewelry, and her magic wand. The thing that threw it over the top was the dress she had on. The first thing out of her daddy’s mouth was, " She looks like a mini hooker!" And she did – she was posing and sashaying all over the place!

Well, as if that wasn’t enough, she disappears back into her playroom. This time she comes back with the fluffy wings that came with her Halloween costume when she was a fairy a couple of years ago. She has somehow managed to put these on all by herself. More sashaying, more strutting! This time DH says she looks like a little Victoria’s Secret model. That was the one that really got me – you know, the commercial with the chicks wearing the wings… At that point, I ran to grab the camera. I knew right away I was going to have to do a layout!! "Future Victoria’s Secret Model" Not that I would ever encourage my daughter to prance around in her underwear, but the whole thing was hilarious, and I still start laughing when I think of how she looked! Just wait for the layout – you’ll be laughing too!
