An Altering Fool!
I have been an altering fool this weekend! Jordan and I went to Tar-jay yesterday to get my baby nehpew a present for his first birthday. His birthday is not until Thursday, but they went ahead and had a party for him yesterday, because we are planning a big party for both him and Jordan this coming weekend. My baby will be turning four years old on Sunday! I just can’t believe it! Their birthdays are only three days apart, so I’m sure this will be an ongoing thing to have joint birthday parties. We can get more bang for our buck by having it all together anyway.
Anyway, while we were at Target, I was looking through their scrapbooking stuff, and came across this section that had all sorts of boxed kits to make all kinds of stuff. They had journal kits, picture frame kits, mini-album kits, and these cute little photo cube kits. I thought "Oh, these will make the cutest gifts for my MIL and SIL. They have these little precut papers in the kit, a couple of tiny frames, and ribbon pieces - everything you would need to make three photo cubes. I was not that impressed with the papers they had in the kit - they were kinda boring, so I decided to use some of my digital designs and make my own mini layouts to put on the cubes. Here are a couple of shots of the one for my MIL:
Aren’t they just the cutest things? These will be perfect to put on a desk at work. Here are the ones for my SIL:
Onto more altering - lunchboxes! I’ve had these for a few weeks now, but I just haven’t had the time to really think about what I wanted to do with them. I thought while I was making Mother’s Day presents for my MIL & SIL, I would make each of them an altered lunchbox to put photos in. Here’s the one I made for my MIL - I love the way this one turned out - almost enough to keep of for myself - LOL! It matches my living room perfectly!
This is the one I made for my SIL - I love this one too! It’s so fresh and feminine looking!

Traci… These are all georgeous!
I love the bottom lunch box in blue the most!
I made some fun “album purses” for mothers day, wrapped them up and forgot to take photos of them… lol!
I would have to post them after mothers day anyway because my mom reads my blog… oh well!
Great job girl!
