I could look at this sweet face forever! I am so please with the way this layout turned out. I just lover these Summery colors! They reminded me of watermelon, cantaloupe and honey dew – which is why I named the set Melon in Paradise.
On another note, I posted last week about my new venture as a designer for a paper company, but at the time I had not received the go-ahead to go public with the name of the company. Well, last night I was finally told that it was OK to release the name….. drum roll…. it’s My Mind’s Eye!! You know – they put out all of the Wild Asparagus and Kaleidoscope lines. I just love their papers, and I can’t wait to see mine in print!!
Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of stores in my area that carry their paper – or at least not all of their paper. Hobby Lobby carries a couple of lines of the Wild Asparagus, but hopefully someone local will pick up my papers. Otherwise I won’t be able to walk into a store and see them on the shelf and say, "Those are mine! I made those!!" They are supposed to debut at CHA in July. There are three lines, each with 12 papers plus die cut alpha and accessory sheets for each. I am so excited!! I sure hope they send me a bunch of the paper and stuff once they start printing it – not that I would ever use it – I’ll probably just stare at it and say "COOL!" – LOL!!
