Woo-hooo! What a surprise I got yesterday when I heard the doorbell ring and saw the UPS man walking back to his truck. He’d left a big box on my front porch, and when I saw who it was from, I was immediately excited! It was from My Mind’s Eye, and when I picked it up, I was even happier – it was a pretty heavy box! I couldn’t wait to get it open! This was the goody box they’d promised us at CHA!! I cut the tape and starting ripping into the box. The whole time Jordan’s singing, “Mommy got a package, Mommy got a package!” The box was full of MME papers and goodies! OMG, I can’t wait to start using some of this gorgeous stuff! I swear, this has to be $1000 worth of papers and goodies!

And what, you might be asking, am I going to do with all of this wonderful stuff? Well, I’m thinking of saving all of my paper, and putting it in a vault somewhere! Who knows if I will ever get papers printed again? LOL!! Plus, there are only a couple of stores around me that sell MME, and they don’t carry all of their lines, so I might not be able to replace the papers if I use them.

 

My mother-in-law were at Garden Ridge this afternoon, and they are clearing out all of their craft stuff for some reason. Anyway, I found these cool thick chipboard letters. These are pretty big too – probably about 8 inches tall. I got the letters to spell INSPIRE, and I think I’m going to use some of the papers to cover the letters. Not sure where I’m going to put them yet, but Jen’s papers would be great with the colors in our living room.

 

OK, this picture really has nothing to do with anything in this post, but I just had to share it because it was taken by my 4 year old daughter! I think she did an excellent job – check out the depth of field in the photo. Yes, that is our RED kitchen in the background - LOL! I love my red kitchen!! This is Rocky, one of our Jack Russell terriers. They are getting old now, so they’ve calmed down quite a bit, but they still get rambuncious!
