Nothing exciting to report here at Chez Sims. I am still working on getting everything in the great room how I want it. I got all of the stuff I bought at Hobby Lobby put up yesterday. It’s all coming together quite nicely. I should have pics to post in the next couple of days. I am so loving the new red couch. Between it, the new artwork, the new rug and the other changes I’ve made, it looks like a totally different room!

Jordan and I did a little crafting yesterday. Actually I did most of it because it involved a lot of cutting shapes and some sewing. Yes, I actually own a sewing machine – even though I haven’t had the thing out since before Jordan was born. I think the last thing I sewed was Jordan’s bedding set for her crib, which I still have, just because I made it. I am a seamstress by no means, but I can do simple stuff. I’ve even made a couple of lap quilts. When we were at Hobby Lobby, I picked up a bunch of felt to make some pumpkins for Halloween. I think the turned out really cute.

Speaking of Hobby Lobby, check out this cute bag that I found there. I just thought it was so cool! I would love to be able to make something like this, but like I said, I am no seamstress.
