:: C’est Fini! ::
I finally made the finishing touches on the great room yesterday, and I think it is officially complete (for today at least - LOL!) I am so loving this room! I don’t spend as much time in here since we have the new furniture. I don’t want Jordan’s stick, Dorito covered hands on the sofa! It’s bad enough the the dogs get dog hair on it! What do you think?
I’m open to any advice if anyone thinks something needs to be changed, added, etc. By the way, the lams aren’t really “that” red. The camera just picked them up that way. They actually match the color of the sofa perfectly. And don’t mind that 5 gallon bucket of salt for the aqaurium. I have asked DH to move it several times, but he keeps saying he’s going to do a water change and he needs it. Fine - but do you need it right there??

I have been tagged twice in the last few days. Once for the 7 songs thing, which I can’t even begin to do. Since I am home all day now, I don’t even listen to music anymore. The only music I really hear is in the car while we’re doing our various errands, and even then, Jordan want’s to listen to her Dora the Explorer CD most of the time. So, I’m sorry, but I’m going to have to pass on that one.
The other one I was tagged with was “5 Weird Things About You or Your Pets.” Gee, thanks Jenn! I’ll give this one a whirl. My pets are pretty weird on their own, so this one shouldn’t be that hard - LOL!
1) Our female Jack Russell has had 2 C-sections to deliver puppies. She was too small to deliver them. We have since had both dogs ‘fixed.”
2) We have a 25 pound cat. He is fat, but he is also a really big cat. I think he’s part Maine Coon.
3) Gina Miller mentioned something on her blog about not being able to eat real bananas, but loving banana bread, banana pudding, etc. I am the exact opposite - I love bananas, but I can’t not eat anything that is banana “flavored.” It had to be the real thing.
4) I get very anxious when riding in a car with someone else driving. I think it’s a control issue, or maybe it’s geneticĀ - my Mom was the same way.
5) I hate shoes! I have over 30 pairs of shoes, but I really hate wearing shoes. I go bare footed all the time. I don’t even like wearing socks or slippers around the house.
OK, not sure how weird those are but that’s five - LOL! Now let’s see, who can I tag? How about Roberta, Debbie, Shelle, Taran, and Laura.

GORGEOUS room! I hope we have one as nice someday!
The sage walls are my favorite color. We painted a room in California that color, and when we moved here the first thing we did was paint an accent wall the same color.
Anyway, thanks for another great freebie. Have a great weekend!!

Love the couch and the colors. One bit of advice is the flowers etc. that I see in the basket and on the wall, they are really too “country” or “craftsy” to go with such a “contemporary” rug which I love btw.
We also recently added a plush sofa set like this in our den and there is NO FOOD OR DRINKS allowed LOL so I dont blame you.
