Well, I’m glad that Jordan and I did our “get out of the house” activities yesterday. It’s pouring rain here today! Yesterday, we went to the paint you own ceramic shop, a cute little place called Glazy Dayz. The lady that owns the shop was really sweet. She has a five year old daughter, so she was great with Jordan. First Jordan painted a big star that we’re going to give to Nana to put on the Christmas tree. The she picked out a little fish to paint. I decided I would do the same fish, so we’d have a matching set! I tell you, this stuff is not cheap – the star and the two fish were $32! We get to pick them up next Tuesday after she fires them.

After that we went to Hobby Lobby. We walked around in there for about an hour looking at all kinds of stuff. I got some of the small clay pots and saucers for Jordan to paint for Fall. I figured since she’d enjoyed painting the ceramics, that she would love this too. After Hobby Lobby, we went to Yankee Candle, and I picked up about $23 worth of tarts! I swear – I just wanted a couple! But they had all of the new Fall scents out, and I couldn’t resist!

After Yankee, we went to Brixx Pizza and had lunch. It was the first time we’d tried this place, and it was fantastic! So after we got our bellies full, it was time to head back home! So, we had a pretty busy day. I don’t think we’re leaving the house today though. I hate dragging her out in the rain!
