:: A Busy Day! ::

Yesterday was supposed to be a day for me to get some work done, but somehow it never seems to work out that way! Remember the damned Corvette that DH bought a couple of months ago? Remember how his friend’s wife backed into him a month after he bought it? Well, he just picked the car up from the body shop YESTERDAY! They had the car THREE weeks! They would call him and say that they were done with it and he would go up there to get it, and there would be something wrong with the work. The door wasn’t lined up correctly, the paint had a run in it, the paint wasn’t smooth. I don’t blame him, I mean this is a limited edition car, and he want’s it to be pristine… but what a pain in the butt this car is turning into!

Next he needs to drop it off to have it aligned because the back tires are wearing unevenly (it’s $300 to replace each one of them!) Well, after three places, he finds one that ”thinks” they can do the alignment. There is something special about the suspension on the car, and it takes a special machine to align it. Even the Chevrolet dealership didn’t have what was needed to do the alignment! So we drop it off that this place he’s found. We go back in the afternoon to pick it up, and they couldn’t do it either! I asked him why he bought a car that no one can work on! He tells me he didn’t know that no one would be able to do an alignment! I told him not to buy that damned car!

So anyway, I spent part of the day chauferring him back and forth, and the rest of the day rearranging Jordan’s playroom. It was time for a major toy clean out - especiallt with Christmas coming. This child had so much junk! You know, all the silly toys that come from McDonalds and Gatti Town.  A lot of it was stuff that she’s just outgrown, and will never miss. I have a huge clothes basket full of stuffed animals that I don’t know what to do with. Some of them she’s had since she was born. It’s not like she ever plays with them. I had them sitting on a bookshelf in her playroom, but the bookshelf got moved to another room. I’m thinking that some of them are going to have to find their way to the trash.

OK, so now you know why I wasn’t around to post on my blog yesterday! I did get a couple of items added to the Scrapbookgraphics store last night though. There are both great for your Fall layouts.

Also, did you you the latest Studio Girls Collective set – The Basics? This is a great blend of all kinds of papers and elements that you will find yourself using over and over. The colors are all neutral, and they work so great together!

OK – onto today’s freebie! This is a cute little set of vintage holiday calling cards. They will be a great finishing touch for your holiday layouts.
