:: Where Did the Day Go? ::
I know - I missed another post. I had the best of intentions - honestly I did! Yesterday seemed to just fly by! I don’t even really have that much that I can show for the day either! Jordan and I folded some laundry, and then we made some Halloween cards. In the afternoon, we went to Wal-Mart for groceries, and next thing I knew it was 4:30! I have no idea where the day went!
The Halloween cards we made came out really cute. I used my Spookarific set to make the front of the cards. Then we used some Halloween stamps that Jordan picked up at Target for the inside. We used gold and silver embossing powder for those. Here’s what the front of the card looks like.

After we finished the cards, I thought it might be nice to put a recent photo of Jordan in the cards when we mail them. So we went out in the front yard where I have all the pumpkins, scarecrows, and Fall foliage for Halloween. Let me just say that I took over 50 photos of this child, and I ended up with only about 5 where she isn’t acting all silly and goofy! Most of them are like this:

Here’s the one that’s going in the cards. She still has a silly. cheesy smile! Oh well, what am I going to do with my little drama queen? She’s still cute as a button though!

Today’s freebie is a sample of one of my CD albums. This is the Beautiful Day one, but I have several to choose from in the YDD store. I don’t know if you any of you have used these, but these are so easy to use, and they make great gifts. I made a couple as Christmas gifts last year, and they were really well recieved. Oriental Trading Company even has the chipboard CD album sets that come with a gift box that you can decorate. With Christmas coming up, I just thought I’d throw out some gift idead - hint, hint!

HERE is the download link. PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THIS LINK! Have a great Saturday!
THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST IN MY FREE DAILY DOWNLOAD SERIES. THIS PARTICULAR DOWNLOAD HAS EXPIRED!

Thanks so much for the cool freebies! And I love the layout with your daughter’s picture! She’s so cute — I love it that children are not camera shy and can be themselves! When they older, they become self conscious and shy away from the camera and lose that spontaniety! Enjoy her - I’m wishing I could turn mine back to that age, if even for a day!

Love your blog! You are so creative!!! Jordan is so adorable, love the photos!! Thanks for the tip about Oriental Trading Company. I just went back several posts to where you had the door and window project and showed my husband. He said that was a great idea! Also wanted to show him what you had done with those Inspire chipboard letters. Getting him interested in this….that’s a good thing!!! Thanks again for the inspiration and the freebie! Great ideas you have!!!!

Love the CD samplers and Jordan looks really cute. I have discovered that it is really hard to get “candid” shots of the kids when we have the camera on them all the time. Have to try to keep it hidden when I “shoot” my grand-daughters…

very cute cd layouts and thanks for the freebies as always, hope you have a great holloween, love that card you made, as I am in Australia we won’t really be celebrating, but we sorta do…for the kids….I am just making some orange cup cakes with licorice of some sort on top to hand out if we get any trick or treaters,,,it’s rare but we did 2 years ago, so it’s nice to give something and cup cakes will be happily eaten here if not….how do you deal with all the sugar rushing that the kids must go through over there, lol. we don’t get dressed up or anything, but we do try and hire kids scarey vidoes to watch…and eat lollies, no candy corn here tho, lol
