Well, the weekend is over, and now the madness of Thanksgiving and Christmas begins! I noticed when I was in Wal-Mart the other day that on Friday and Saturday everything is going to be tax free here in S. Carolina. Like people are really going to need extra incentive to get out there and shop! My MIL and I got the majority of our Christmas shopping done the other night. We pretty much just buy for the kids now, since we adults pretty much buy what we want, when we want it – within reason – LOL!

I will most likely be avoiding several roads where I live – where the mall is, and where all of the other big shopping centers are. I hate crowds, and I am not about to get out there and fight with some 75 year old grandma over a gift – LOL! Some people just get crazy when it comes to Christmas shopping!

I love the Christmas season, but I agree that it has gotten way to commercial. I love decorating the house, and seeing the kids open presents, and spending time with family – that’s the stuff I look forward too. Jordan is really into Christmas this year. Hopefully she will do better about opening her presents than she has the last few years. She’d open the first present and then she wanted to sit there and play with it, which is all fine and good, but it would take her three hours to open her gifts if we didn’t coax her to open her other stuff – LOL!

I did a few Christmas doodles for today’s freebie. These are nothing fancy – they have that children’s drawing look to them. I hope you can use them. Enjoy!!
