:: Ho-Ho-Ho!! ::

I mentioned in yesterday’s post that we were going to visit Santa. The whole dressing ordeal was pretty painless. I fixed Jordan’s hair and curled the ends of her hair for her. She even got some hair spray for good measure, which she was thrilled about. I also put a little makeup on her to even out her complexion some. She has some little red places around her nose that she has had since birth. I was hoping that they would go away as she got older, but they haven’t really faded that much. They’re not bad, but I knew I was going to be taking a lot of photos, and that some of them might end up in Christmas cards. I used my new Bare Minerals makeup on her and it was just enough to cover the redness, plus she got a little of the Glee face color. Here’s my little beauty! 2006_1204 (12)

Have any of you tried the Bare Minerals makeup? It feels so great on your face! Anyway… I digress…

Here are Jordan and Logan playing peacefully (which is a rare occurrence!) while Nana finished getting dressed. My SIL brought this little outfit for him to wear – is he not the cutest? Just like a little man! 2006_1204

Well, the trip to see Santa was a fun one! We had to wait for Logan to wake up from his morning nap, so it was about 11:30 when we got to the mall. There were about 4 kids in line in front of us, which was not bad – unless you have a little 18 month old that can’t sit still for more than 10 seconds – LOL! We had him in his stroller, but that didn’t last long! He was in an out of line, and Nana had to chase him down a couple of times!

Jordan went first. We were trying to let Logan watch her so he wouldn’t be nervous. She did great this year! She smiled, and she even carried on a little conversation with Santa! And wouldn’t you know she would ask for the one thing that we didn’t buy her! She’s been talking about a toy Jeep. Now this has just started in the last week or so, and my MIL and I have pretty much already bought the kids Christmas stuff! Looks like we’ll be going shopping for a Jeep this weekend! I mean, how can you not give a kid the ONE thing that she asked Santa for??? Anyway, here is is on Santa’s lap. This is a photo that I took, but the one that they took looks really cute too! 2006_1204 (21)

Logan was a lost case with Santa! We even tried sitting him with Jordan on Santa’s lap, and it just wasn’t happening! Oh well, we weren’t going to force the poor kid to sit there screaming on Santa’s lap – like the couple in front of us did with their little girl. I felt so sorry for her!

So after Santa, we all had some lunch and then we took the kids to play in this new indoor playground they have at the mall. It’s got all kinds of things for them to climb in and on, and the whole this is surrounded by a big circle of padded benches so there’s no way they can get out. The floor is also super padded in case of falls. They had a great time playing. Since I couldn’t get a photo of Logan with Santa, I got some of him playing. 2006_1204 (48)

Here is is “reading” a book. 2006_1204 (56)

Is he not just a little stinker? So after the big trip to the mall and all the playing, we headed home. The kids played for a little while and watched Spongebob. Then it was time for everyone to take a nap. Well, it was supposed to just be the kids, but we all ended up going to sleep! I was in one bed with Jordan, and my MIL was in another bed with Logan! LOL!
