Well, we got but at 6:00 a.m. to go to the Georgia Aquarium yesterday. Phil ended up going, even though he didn’t really feel well. His mom was kind of happy that she didn’t have to go – LOL! We got there at 10:00, and there were already tons of people there. We walked through all of the exhibits, and I have to say, I was not that impressed. Don’t get me wrong, it was cool, but just not what I was expecting. Everyone has just hyped it up, and I guess I was just expecting more.

Phil wanted to do the Behind the Scenes tour, but they don’t allow kids under 10 for that. Not to mention that was another $50 on top of the $70 we’d already spent. I took my camera of course, and I got some cool shots. There were just so many people there that it was hard to really get close to some of the stuff. I don’t do well in large crowds like that anyway. Here are a few of the photos that I took.

       

There’s a funny story to go with that last one. They had a play area set up for kids with all of the tubes and stuff that they can crawl through. At the end is a three story enclosed spiral slide. Jordan went through OK the first time, but the second time she wouldn’t go down the slide! We could see other kids trying to get her to do down, and we were yelling at her to go down. Finally one of the employees came over and asked us if there was a problem. She yelled up to her to go down the slide or come back the way she’d come. She finally ended up having to go up go up there and take her down the slide! Needless to say, she didn’t go back though – even though she kept begging us to take her back over there!

We have a winner!
