:: Out of the Loop! ::
That’s how I feel! I’ve been so busy with other stuff that I feel like I am totally out of the loop! Don’t you hate it when “real life” gets in the way of playtime? LOL! Yesterday, real life got in the way - but this time it wasn’t my fault. Someone hit a power pole three streets over from us, and when it fell, it pulled down 6 other poles with it! It was like a domino effect! So, needless to say the power went out! My husband got the generator out after a couple of hours so we could run the pump for the aquarium and the fridge. We definitely don’t want to lose any more fish! For some reason the amplifier for the cable would not work off the generator, so we were without cable or internet until about 8:00 last night.
Remember I mentioned a few days ago about some of my layouts being featured on the Memory Makers site? Well my first layout is being featured today. I can’t get a layout published in a magazine to save my life, so this is almost as good - LOL!

I know all about when the power goes out, we live in the ‘boonies’ and when it goes out we don’t even have water because we are on a well and it runs by electric! When hurricane Wilma came through we had to take water from the pond to flush the toilets with, (and that’s kind of a long walk!)lol. Luckily at that time I didn’t have my fish tank set up. We also had bought a ton of bottled water and the horses were able to drink the pond water. What a pain in the neck with no power! Allthough, that gas bar-b-que grill came in handy, that’s for sure!

Did you loose fish due to the outage? If so, you can get a copy of the accident report to find out who was at fault and you can file a claim with their auto insurance! I know those fish aren’t cheap, especially the big guys! I did this when we lost power due to an accident and when the power came back on it blew up the compressor on my frig. It’s worth a few phone calls.
