Happy Friday!! It’s really just another day for me, since I work at home, but it was only 6 months ago that I had to endure the morning fiascoes! Every morning was a major ordeal to get Jordan up and dressed for pre-school! She is just not a morning person – LOL! I would have to come up with something exciting every day to get her motivated. Thursdays were always easy – that was show and tell day at school! Then once I got her to school it was another road-rage trip into downtown for work. Sometimes I felt like I’d put in a full day before I ever got to work! I am glad those days are over – for now at least. I may have to go back to a “real” job eventually.

Jordan had karate last night, and I thought for sure she would get her second stripe, but she didn’t. I’d counted up her classes since she got her first stripe, and it’s time for it. Maybe she’ll get it tonight… I had taken my camera just in case, so I did get some more photos of her – not that they look much different from the first batch I took – LOL! A bunch of little ones in their little karate gis! They are all so cute though! Most of them in the class are smaller than Jordan, and there is one little boy that is just tiny!! Ray Thompson, the owner of the school, is so good with the little ones. He can be stern with them if they don’t listen or pay attention, but that’s what they’re there for – to learn respect and discipline. It is really amazing to watch him with the little ones. He is a world-renowned trainer and coach, and is the coach for the Pittsburgh Fire team of the World Combat League. For him to go back and forth between training world champions and toddlers is amazing to me!
