That’s how I’m still feeling! This cold seems to have taken hold and will not let go! I am hoping that it’s about to run it’s course, because I am so tired of coughing! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. It was quite chilly here yesterday, all weekend really. I took Jordan to an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at a local park, and it was so miserably cold! It was like 45 out and the wind was blowing at like 20 mph! Brrrr… She didn’t seem to mind it as much as me, but that’s kids for you! I’m sure being out in that didn’t help me cold - LOL! Our Spring weather is supposed to be returning later this week. Here’s Jordan counting her eggs from the hunt.

this is so pretty! I can’t wait to us it with the “warmer weather” pics. It is still snowing here in Ontario, 5 days of it so far. Oh well, at least it is not staying and building up into drifts. LOL!

How cute! Thanks so much! We ended up having our egg hunt indoors, and the kids actually seemed to like it better - more places to hide them, etc. In fact, one of them is still missing . . . .

Yep that cold has struck here too. The weather here in NC is just too up in the air to not have a cold. My daughter is coughing and miserable. I am the one with the other symtpoms. Good luck and if you find some medicine that works (nothing is working) please let me know.

Thank you soo much for this beautiful sampler.:)Just wanted to let you know that my dd had a bad cold one time and the only thing that relieved her coughing at night was vapor rub on her chest.The kind that is a decongestant.Hope that will let you rest some.It really did work for her.:)

Thank you for the delightful sampler. I love the circle polka dot frame and the ribbons. I adore aqua and purple together. Your Easter kit is wonderful, too, and I have to go buy it. There’s no stopping me, I’m afraid.
I’m sorry you’ve been feeling yukky over Easter. I can’t stand these icy-cold Easters, too. Brrr! Our children were all too old this year for egg hunts, but we did have to go in and out of cars/houses to visit family… sob. (well, I’m glad we had family to visit! I just wish it had been in nice, warm weather!)

Thanks for the bright colored set. With all this yucky weather it really helps. Also here is a tip for your cough..now don’t laugh….but if you would rub vicks on the bottom of your feet and put on a pair of socks it will stop the cough..Ok..so what have you got to loose by trying this??? The cough..

Ooops almost forgot! Saw Wendy’s cough remedy and thought I’d share mine - particularly good for very dry, hacking coughs or raw sore throats.
Slice a medium to large onion, very thinly. Lay the slices across the bottom of a shallow dish (similar to a shallow 8 inch sponge tin for example). Now pour over some very runny honey until the onion is completely covered. Cover and leave at room temperature overnight. In the morning drain off the fluid and take it in large spoonfuls through the day, allowing it to roll slowly down your throat (no gulping!) or gargle gently with it if you can. Repeat using the same onion with fresh honey (2-3 days). It works a treat although you’d never believe it til you’ve tried it.
