:: I’m Alive… Barely! ::
Yep, I’m still here - LOL! How do you like the new look for my blog and the YDD store? I really like this color scheme, of course I still loved the one I was using, but I just wanted a change. The last few days have just been busy, busy, busy! Saturday and Sunday I worked in the yard all day. I finally got the beds in front of our house finished! I had to dig one out to level it out, and then I planted some hosta, added mulch, and sat some potted geraniums in it. The other one already had flowers in it, but I had to mulch it, and I added a couple more containers. Then I added some decorative stone edging around both of them. These beds are like 25 feet long and 8 feet deep, so it took quite a while to get it all done!
Then yesterday afternoon I started getting a sore throat! I just got over being sick a few weeks ago! I have no idea why I seem to be catching everything that comes and goes! Of course DH is also sick, so I guess I can blame it on him! So now I have all of the head and chest congestion - again! I need to get over this in the next few days because my MIL, Jordan and I are leaving to go to the beach next Monday. We decided to go down during the week to avoid some of the beach crown, plus the rates are cheaper. I definitely don’t want to go down there sick!

Bummers about the cold! I just went thru that, where I was over it for about 2 weeks and got it back. I (knock on wood) rarely get colds so it was a bit of a surprise.
So where is the photo of your flowerbeds??? Ya know me, I love the planting stuff
Hosta’s are awesome, I love shade gardens. Well I love hosta’s as long as you put enough slug bait out. Man those little buggers like to munch on a nice big beautiful host leaf! dirty little stinkers.

Love the new look! Gosh, I sure hope you start feeling better soon so you can enjoy yourself at the beach. Sounds like you accomplished a lot in the yard, I really need to do the same!

We’ve been moving lots of hostas around in our garden this year! We split a bunch, and even had some to give away. Hope your throat settles down!

I love the new blog colors, but I liked the green on e too! I just wanted to thank you for letting us know about the sale. I had to go over and get Ivy League. I had gotten the freebie part from you and I LOVE IT! I just love the color combo. It’s still downloading, I cannot wait to use it! By the way, is it okay to use it to design a blog header if I credit you? Hope so!
