Since I’ve been talking about Shutterfly so much this week, I thought I’d share something else Shutterfly related with you. Shutterfly has some template information on their site about creating your pages so that they print out correctly. It’s stuff about the bleed, and the parts of the pages that extend into the binding area. It just confused the heck out of me – LOL! Luckily, I found something that makes it so simple!

Wendy Zine has some Shutterfly templates that tell you where the “live” area is, and it helps you design your pages to make sure nothing gets cut off when they print and assemble your book. Here are the 8×8 ones that I used for my books. She also includes great instructions on using the templates.     Wendy also has 12×12 templates, which can be found HERE.
