We got home around 2:30 yesterday afternoon, and all the fun chores of being home began! First I had to get everything unpacked and put away. Then I ended up doing three loads of laundry – our clothes from the beach plus DH’s stuff from last week. Today I pretty much plan on taking it easy, but I’m sure that will change – LOL!

We still don’t have the pool running. We added sand to the filter last weekend because somehow all of the sand from last year was gone. We have no idea where it went! Well, now the filter is leaking! So it looks like we’re going to have to buy a new filter for the pool. Of course we already spent over $150 on chemicals to get it running, but since the filter was obviously not working right, they pretty much didn’t do what they were supposed to. We shocked the crap out of the pool, and it still looks green – a much lighter green – but still green!

This stupid pool was here when we bought this house a couple of years ago, and Jordan just loves it. It an above ground pool, so there is more maintenance than with an in-ground. Plus. there’s no telling how old this pool is. It needs a new liner, so we’ll be lucky if we can get through this Summer with it.
