Happy Thursday all! I hope you’ve all been having a great week! All ready for Father’s Day? Jordan and I have to get her Daddy something today, although I have no idea what that might be! The only things he seems to want lately is parts and stuff for that stupid Corvette! That damn car is really starting to get on my nerves! Even Jordan has made the comment that “Daddy loves that car more than he does me!” Heck, I’m starting to wonder about that myself - LOL!

OK, here’s the news from the specialist yesterday. He is sending me for physical therapy for my lower back - aquatic therapy, which means I can do the exercises in our pool here at the house! I have to go for another evaluation at the PT today at 4:00. He says that being pregnant with Jordan just threw my “core” out of wack, and that with therapy, it should be able to resolve the problems. Yeah for that!

My neck is going to need further evaluation. I have to go see a different doctor in July, and he said that they would probably start me on TENS therapy and explore the possibility of the need for some injections in my neck. But no surgery is even suggested at this point! Thank God - not that I would have done that anyway!  I have just heard of too many people having back surgery and never being the same again.

So that’s some good news for me! Now I have some good news for you! I just added this cute quick page album to the YDD store. It was made with my Good Boy items, and I love the way it turned out. I tried to add a lot of details to the pages. It’s and 8×8 album, and there are 10 pages plus a bonus cover. PLUS— today and tomorrow you can pick it up for 25% off!

Well, yet another day with no freebie to offer! Don’t give up on me yet - I’ll get one up soon!

That’s great news on your back! Hope “no surgery” will be the word on your neck - but my husband had 2 successful surgeries (and quick recoveries) and they’ve had improvements since then.

Traci, I hope I am not overstepping my bounds here, but please let me encourage you to have the surgery if they say you need it. My father had two bulging discs in his neck. When they decided to blow, they didn’t do it in the classic way and cause pain. Instead, they blew inward, toward his spinal column. Your spinal column doesn’t actually have pain receptors, so he had no idea there was a problem, until the numbness started from the pressure on the cord. It started in his hands and feet, then progressed up his arms and legs. Thankfully, that prompted him to see a doctor, since he couldn’t even type very well anymore (he just couldn’t feel the keys). The doctor said that had he waited another week, the numbness would have travelled up to his core body, and he would have stopped breathing. Sure, you may not be the same after surgery, but it is better than dead, right? I really hope the therapy works for you! I truly do. But should it come down to it, please have the surgery if they say it is necessary and all other options have been exhausted. It isn’t worth your life.

Great news! My friend has had 3 surgeries and they want her to have a 4th and she said no way. She is still in constant pain and she even has a morphine pump! She is doped up on all these pain meds all the time and is just going thought what she calls a living hell. On the other hand my uncle had a surgery and is just fine. Every thing worked out for him. If they did tell you that you need surgery I would do as much research as possible before I went under the knife. Good luck!

Don’t worry about us and freebies! We will survive, baraely! LOL! Just take care of yourself and find your hubby a present he could use with the family, but that he still thinks is great for him. Is there such a thing? My DH bought his own present-a golf pass! That’s the way I like to shop! He! He!
