I hope you all had a great Fourth of July! We did a good time around here. We grilled out way to much food, and ate way to much! Then when it started getting dark the firework festivities began. Although my husband and FIL spent almost $200 combined, none of us were that impressed with any of the stuff that they bought. The stuff you get for home use is just not that pretty. We should have gone downtown and watched the big show they had there! LOL! Jordan had her earplugs in because she hates loud noises, but she seemed to enjoy the show.

A HYBRID PROJECT

I did these last night. This is a hybrid project using both digital and traditional stuff. The hearts are thin pieces of wood that I got at AC Moore. I scanned one so I could get the heart shape just right. Then I used that as a “template” for my digital paper (from my Summer Dayz Paper Pack) and the photo. I added pink stitching on one. Then I printed them out, cut them out, and adhered them to the wood hearts, which I’d already painted. I found all of the cute glitter, flower, and ribbon embellishments at the Target Dollar Spot a couple of weeks ago!
