:: Wondered Where I Am? ::
Happy Sunday! Have you guys been wondering where I’ve been? LOL! Well, in my last post I mentioned that we were making a short trip to Charleston. Actually we stayed in Summerville, which is just outside of Charleston. We went down to the Market Friday morning, and man was it hot! We got there at 9:00 a.m., and it was already 87 degrees out and so humid! By the time we left at about 1:00, it was 95! Just sweltering.
We went on one of the hour long carriage ride tours, which was super cool! I wish our tour guide would have been better. She was very knowledgeable about facts and the history of Charleston, but we couldn’t understand half of what she was saying! It was like she was mumbling! We weren’t the only ones that couldn’t understand her either. All in all though, it was very interesting, and we learned some pretty cool stuff about a lot of the houses in the Battery. Stupid me forgot my camera, or I would have some beautiful photos to post here! I could just kick myself!
We visited with some family while we were there, and we all went out to eat each night together. So while it was a short trip, it was fun! The traffic coming back yesterday was horrendous. I guess people that were at the beach last week were heading home yesterday, and we got caught in a lot of the traffic. The other side, going toward the beach, was even worse. We saw numerous accidents, and at one point the traffic on that side was backed up about 10 miles! I felt sorry for those folks, because I know that probably added about 2 hours to their drive time!
Since I don’t have any cool photos to show you, I guess I’ll post a layout that I did over the weekend.
You can see credits HERE.
It’s been a while since I had a freebie up. Today I’m sharing a super versatile white chipboard alpha. This will work well with all sorts of styles and themes! THIS DOWNLOAD IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
HERE is the download link. PLEASE DO NOT SHARE MY LINKS WITH OTHERS OR IN YAHOO GROUPS. DON’T SUPPORT PIRACY! See - it’s on every post for a freebie! Have a wonderful day! Please leave me some love if you download the freebie! ![]()
