My Little World…

Yes, I have been a bad blogger! I’ve been falling down on the job of keeping this thing up and going for a couple of months now. I thought it was just Summer, and all the activities that go with it, but Jordan’s been in school for two weeks now, and I don’t seem to be getting any better - lol!

I am trying though! I just don’t know where all the time goes! Anyway.. it seems yesterday was the “unofficial” end of Summer, although it sure didn’t feel like it here. There was a local Labor Day festival in our little town, and Jordan’s karate school was doing a demo there. It started at 1:00 and by then it was already 90 degrees outside. They had to wear their full uniforms for the demo, which included the long sleeve jacket. I know she had to be so hot out there!

As soon as the demo was over we went to the car and changed her into some shorts and a tank top. We ran into one of her friends from when she was in daycare, and whose also in kindergarten at the same school. It’s probably a good thing that they’re not in the same class, because I can see the two of them getting into trouble for talking and being silly. They are so cute to watch together though! It’s hard to believe that they’ve known each other half their lives!

So we all walked around and go some sno-cones, lemonade, and balloon animals. Jordan ended up leaving hers in the bathroom, and when we went back to get it, her little balloon doggie was gone! She was so upset, but she got over it pretty quickly. Naturally it was MY fault for not reminding her to get it! Oh the drama!

Then her little friend and her family left, and I took Jordan over to the rides. I couldn’t believe what they were charging for those rides - $3-4 per ride! That’s friggin’ crazy. She rode a couple and then I told her it was time to go. I was miserably hot, and she was too. Her allergies have been bothering her, so when she got hot she started coughing a lot.

So, that’s how our labor day went! Hope your were all wonderful! Here’s a layout that I posted with some of Jordan’s baby photos. What a cutie she was - well, she still is!
