How Long Has it Been??

Gosh, since I went back to work a couple of months ago, I just feel all out of sorts in the digi world! I just don’t have time to cruise DST, forums, and scrap blogs anymore! Going back to work had also put a real crimp in my designing and scrapping time too! Even though I only work the hours that Jordan’s in school, by the time I pick her up and run any errands, then get her settled in when we get home, I just don’t have that play time anymore! And I hate it - not the time with Jordan, just that I don’t have any “me” time anymore! Plus she has karate three times a week…

I have been working on some Christmas stuff this week. Wanna a little sneak peek?

  

These will be going in the store in a couple of weeks. I may even try to get some card sets done with them :-)

I also have a cute freebie to share today! I made this with my Vintage Spice papers, so if you have that set, it will coordinate beautifully with it. If you don’t have the set, the colors are sure to go with some other Fall items you may have picked up. Enjoy!

    Traci, I can’t wait to see more. The kits look great. It’s hard to do it all, isn’t it? Working mothers just don’t get enough credit for all they do.

    I’ve missed your usual presence on the web. So, other than the money, why did you go back to work? Did you find your family and hobbies fell short of fulfillment? I guess life is full of choices and we learn by trial and error. I knew I couldn’t work and keep up with my family and hobbies also. Life is so short and if I can’t make a significant contribution to the world, I prefer to concentrate on my family. I feel nothing is more important to a mother than contributing a responsible child to society but I know other women have other needs. And some women seem capable of doing it all.

    But…who asked me? It just seems from your dialogue that you are having a difficult time with your decision. Give it some time and follow your heart. You are in an adjustment period. It’s all about choices!

    Thanks so much for the cute bird. My mother raised birds for sale so I think this will be nice for a layout for her.
