:: Finally Finished! ::

I finally finished the album I’ve been making for my MIL for Mother’s Day. This is a fun hybrid project! I used one of the Basic Grey bracket albums, Janet Phillips Bracket Album Templates (some were changed a bit) and Jessica Bolton’s funky-fresh new collection called A Pastiche for the Boys. You can pick individual packs or buy the whole collection. It was so much fun to work with!
The album was made with some of my DH’s baby photos. My MIL is just going to flip over this! Who knows how long it’s been since she looked at any baby photos? He was such a little stinker (still is!!) and those big brown eyes are still exactly the same! These photos were poor quality to start with, and on top of that, the original photos were only like 2 inches square! I don’t think I’ve ever seen originals that small. I don’t know what type of camera they were taken with. Here are some photos of the album.

Here are a couple of the individual pages.

Traci, wow! This is absolutely amazing! I love it and I just know your MIL will, too. The photos look great here - nice and vibrant!
Awesome gift for your MIL! It turned out great.
LOVING the jewelry!!! I’ve always wanted to learn resin working for jewelry…its on my list. I’ve wanted to do an etsy page for a while for glass pendants and lamps and stuff that I make. GREAT for you that you actually did it!!! Dying to hear how its going, and if its possible to make any money with it, so keep us updated! lol
Gorgeous album! Believe it or not, I’m still working on my Mom’s day hybrid album and frame…so you’re not the latest one! lol Thank God hubby is in phoenix till tuesday, and we won’t see his mom till following weekend, so I still have a lil time. Whew! Isn’t it amazing how hybrid projects always seem to take 3x longer than you think they will? Always amazes me these hybrid goddesses who’re like “I had an extra 1/2 hour today…look what I whipped up!” and its some amazing gorgeous altered book that looks like it took a month….and would probably take me 4 mos!
All of your new ventures are so exciting, so I just had to pop in and say congrats!!!
