Phew… this has been a crazy last few days! Jordan decided that she wanted to put a set of bunk beds up in her room. Some friends gave us a set a couple of months ago and they have just been sitting on the garage. So, that entailed pretty much rearranging out entire upstairs! She had a queen size in her room, so we took that out and put it in our room. We gave the king size that was in our room to some neighbors. Then we had to assemble the bunk beds, which involved a couple of trips to Lowes to get new bolts. After that I had to go and get two twin mattresses. Then I had to buy all new bedding for her, which involved going to several places. I had an idea of what I wanted in my head, but I just couldn’t find it anywhere - lol! I wanted some bright, funky colors. I finally found something at Wal-Mart, and the comforters were only $14.50 each!
So I washed all the new sheets, and it took a contortionist to get the dang sheets on the mattresses! Anyone have any advice on how to change the sheets on the top bunk without climbing my ass up there?? LOL! So the beds all made up, then I have to change the curtains, then I moved a couple of other things around and brought some of her toys up to her room. She has so much more room now, and she can actually play in her room!
OK, so that’s two bedrooms rearranged. My MIL had taken down the bed she had in Jordan’s room at her house, and she told me I could have it for our third bedroom. We’ve never used our third bedroom as an actual bedroom. It’s were I keep most of my clothes (we have such small closets!) and has an old chiffarobe that was my grandmother’s and a vanity table. So after moving the vanity and two other large pieces around to make room for a bed, my MIL and I moved it Tuesday. So now our whole upstairs has been totally rearranged!
Most days I was lucky to even check my email once a day, so that’s why I have beem MIA and haven’t added anything new this week,,,
OH!! I added some new jewelry to my Etsy Shop. In between moving and rearranging - it only took me four days to get in all in there in - lol! I have started doing some wire wrapping and beading in addtion to the resin stuff. Take a look and let me know whatcha think! Here’s the little Etsy Mini:
