Hello all! Well, I wish I can say the school traffic situation was better yesterday than the first day, but it wasn’t! Actually the morning commute was better, but the afternoon was even worse! It is so aggravating! And there’s nothing you can do about it! Now they won’t even let people sit in the road to wait to get into the pickup loops! Once they’re full, you have to keep moving. I was told that I would have to keep driving around the block until I could get in! What the hell?? That is totally asinine! I heard of one parent that ended up circling around for an HOUR before they finally got into the parking lot! I’m sure they weren’t the only one.
Ok…. serenity now…. lol!

… and that is exactly why we walk to drop off/pick up the kids for school. It is faster for me to spend the 10 minutes walking each way than it is to try and drive. Our situation is not nearly as bad by any means, but I avoid driving whenever I can.

I couldn’t cope with the traffic situation at school…..I’ve heard others say that they are in line sometimes near 90min……I can’t even imagine what I’d do to entertain my 2yr old for that long…….
My DD rides the bus…its a 5min walk to the stop, 5min wait and 5min walk home…and she gets here less than 15min after school lets out. It’s ingenious really!
I hope that it gets better.
