My Little World…

I’ve been busy getting my daughter ready start second grade. We went shopping for some new school clothes and shoes yesterday, not that this child has a real need for new clothes - her closet is jam packed right now, bur everybody likes to have new stuff to start the school year.

We have Meet the Teacher night tomorrow, and we will find out who her second grade teacher is. She is soooo not looking forward to going back to school - lol! I really hate that she dreads it. I don’t remember every disliking school when I was her age. It wasn’t until I got to high school that I dreaded it - lol! I am really not ooking forward to having to start getting her up and dressed in the mornings. She has never been much of a morning person - even as a toddler. She doesn’t mind getting up, but she just likes to chill out for awhile when she first wakes up. Getting up and immediately having to get dressed for school is not her idea of fun.

In other news… I posted some cute Halloween pendants in my QuirkMe Etsy shop last night. I’ve never been one for the whole dressing in a holiday theme, but these are perfect for showing a little Halloween spirit. Halloween is my daughters favorite holiday - I swear, she loves it more than Christmas! These would even be cute for kiddos to wear for Halloween.
