My husband will be home from Iraq Saturday morning! Only 3 1/2 more days to go – woohoo! Hopefully he will have no problems getting to Kuwait. They’ve been having a lot of troop movement and some sandstorms, which can make it pretty hard to get out. Last week a couple of guys barely made it out in enough time to get their Visas in Kuwait and make their flights!

I am sure that he’s going to be exhausted and not good for much on Saturday. An eighteen hour flight will do that to you – lol! I can’t imagine being stuck on a plane that long! The flight from Kuwait is 14 hours, then he has a short layover in Washington, DC before an hour and a half flight here. Hopefully Jordan will show a little empathy and let him get some rest when he gets home… but she is only seven, and she is so excited to have her daddy home!

In other news… I added this gorgeous necklace and matching earrings to my TSD Etsy shop yesterday. I just love how this one came out! I think I may just have to make one for myself!

Well, I guess that’s it for today. I have to get the house in tip-top shape before Phil gets home. Not that he’s probably going to notice that much. I mean, heck, he’s been living in a shipping container for the last year with no real running water, sand that gets in every nook and cranny, and 120 degree heat – lol! He will just be happy to have a comfy couch to lay on, a real bed, and a real shower and toilet!
